True Love Is Sacrifice
St Francis of Assisi school celebrated Bakrid meaning ‘Eid-Al- Adha’ or ‘the feast of sacrifice’ by outlining its significance through a short programme in the school auditorium. This feast indicates the unconditional love and faith towards God. Prophet Ibrahim was willing to sacrifice his own son as an act of total obedience to God’s command. It was a true test of love and submission to God. Chief guest Mrs Mohsina Begum (M.TECH) hails from Gulbarga. At present she is lecturing in Government Tool Room and Training center, Chikodi, highlighted in her message ‘If a person wants to be successful, one must be faithful to God, others and oneself. Sacrificial life is well remembered in the history. Sacrifice yourself to build the future for yourself’. Children through their Prayer, Qawwali, Skit, Speech and Dance spread the message of love, devotion, kindness and equality. Distribution of snacks to all the students and staff marked the climax of celebration. We thank all our generous and ever supporting parents. God Bless you all.
