St Francis of Assisi school celebrated Christmas day on 23rd December, 2022 with great pomp and glory. As a preparation for it, competitions were held, such as; Angel dress completion for girls, Santa Claus for boys from Nursery to UKG students, Clowns for First and Second standard, Christmas Wreath for Third, Fourth and Fifth Standard, Christmas Card for Sixth, Seventh and Eight Standard, twins for Ninth and Tenth standard students. Rev. Fr. Willis Pinto SDB was the chief guest and Rev. Fr. Pradeep was the guest of hour for this solemn function. “God became humble and born as human being so that we also may become humble and share all that we have with others like God”, was the message of the chief guest. Primary students from four houses re-told the story of birth of Jesus Christ through their tableaus. Higher primary students through their angelic carols created the heaven on earth. Pre-Primary students through their angel dance filled the sweet cherubim fragrance in the ground. The arrival of Santa Claus, sound of ‘Jingle Bells’ in the Assisi campus, children, teachers and gathered audience danced with joy. All participants of the competitions were awarded with Christmas gifts. Special Christmas cake and juice elevated the spirit of Christmas celebration among the pupils.
