Parishioners and all the school staff celebrated St Francis of Assisi feast on a grand scale, on 4th October. Silver Jubilarian, the Parish Priest of St Michael’s Church, Hidkal Dam, Rev Fr. Lourduswamy presided over the Holy Eucharistic Celebration. The Episcopal Vicar for Religious and the CRI president, Rev. Fr Richard D’Almeida, SVD graced this occasion by participating in the celebration. From Chikodi Deanery Priests, Religious Sisters and the Lay Faithful devoutly took part in the celebration. Angelic choir and eye-captivating decorations elevated all to celestial heights. After the mass Fr Lourduswamy, who celebrated his silver jubilee of his priesthood, was felicitated by the PPC members of Chikodi.
