SACRIFICE IS A BLESSING
Eid al-Adha conveys a powerful message that every sacrifice made with a sincere heart brings blessings upon oneself, one's family, and future generations. The festival of Bakrid was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur at the school on 18 June 2026 at 11:30 am. in the Assisi Auditorium. Muslim students, along with teachers and other participants, showcased the festive spirit through dances, songs, qawwali performances, and a skit depicting the significance of Hajj. Dr. Riyaz Ahmed Abdul Gani Makandar, Senior Physician at the General Hospital, Hukkeri, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, accompanied by his daughter, Dr. Taskeen. In his address, he encouraged students to make small sacrifices in their daily lives to achieve great goals and success in the future. His personal life experiences served as an inspiring example for the audience.
The programme highlighted how the contributions of generous and selfless individuals can inspire others to sacrifice their own comforts for the betterment of society. The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to the values of sacrifice, compassion, and service to humanity.
