Joyful music and spiritual vibrations filled the air as St. Francis of Assisi School celebrated its Founder’s Day on 26th November in the lush, ecological campus of the school. The celebration beautifully reflected the values and spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. Students enacted The Wolf of Gubbio, spreading the message of love and harmony with all creatures of creation. The high school choir presented the Canticle of Brother Sun, inspiring everyone to respect all living and non-living beings as brothers and sisters, following the example of St. Francis. With devotion, children offered flowers to the Saint, paying homage and respect. The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Paul Melwin D’Souza, Vicar Provincial of the Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka, as the Chief Guest, and Rev. Fr. Jason Roy, Vice Principal of Sneha Jyothi School, Potnal, Raichur, as the Guest of Honour. In his address, the Chief Guest encouraged students to walk in the footsteps of St. Francis by showing reverence for creation. He also appreciated the students for their accomplishments in academics, sports, and cultural activities. The celebration concluded on a sweet note with the distribution of cake, marking a joyful end to the memorable day.
