TEACHING MUST BE OF THE HEART
St. Francis of Assisi School joyfully celebrated Teachers’ Day on 4th September 2025. The celebration began with a warm welcome, as the school band led a procession and students greeted teachers with flowers as they entered the auditorium. The school parliament meticulously organized the day’s events in a graceful and meaningful manner.
Teachers were formally welcomed, honored for their dedicated service, and felicitated with gifts and mementos. The cultural program presented by students of Classes 4, 8, and 9 filled the atmosphere with joy and gratitude. Speeches delivered by the students highlighted the invaluable role of teachers in today’s world. The Principal, Fr. Jeson Fernandes, delivered a heartfelt message: “Make your place in the hearts of children through your teaching.”
After a delightful lunch, the students organized a series of fun-filled games including musical chairs, tug of war, and volleyball. Teachers enthusiastically participated, creating moments of laughter and joy. Winners were awarded medals and attractive prizes.
The entire celebration beautifully reflected the students’ deep love, respect, and admiration for their teachers, making it a truly memorable day.
