St Francis of Assisi School is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our athletes in Athletics. At the State Level Championship, held at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium, Bangalore, from 11–12 August 2025, Ms. Janisha Fernandes (Under-17 Girls) won the Silver Medal in the 400mt and the Bronze Medal in the 200mt running race. She will now proudly represent Karnataka at the National Level in the 400mt running race and relay, to be held at Sree Jayaprakash Narayana National Youth Sports Training Center, Vidyanagar, Bangalore, from 10–12 September 2025. Earlier, at the Zonal Level Athletics in Ballary, Janisha emerged as the Champion by securing three Gold Medals in the 100mt, 200mt, and 400mt Sprint events. The school is equally delighted with the success of Ms. Aradhya Naik (Under-14 Girls), who secured the Bronze Medal in the 600mt running race at the State Level. At the Zonal Level in Ballary (11–12 July 2025), she also emerged as the Champion, winning three Gold Medals in the 200mt, 400mt, and 600mt events. The school is elated with their remarkable success and extends heartfelt congratulations to both Janisha and Aradhya. We wish Janisha the very best as she prepares to shine at the National Level.
