On February 16, 2025, an award ceremony was held in Dharwad to commemorate the 194th birthday of Savitribai Phule, India's first female teacher and a pioneer in women's education. Among the distinguished honorees was our pre-primary teacher Nazma Begum Zade Goundi, a dedicated teacher who was awarded the prestigious state-level Savitribai Phule Award.
